WASHINGTON, D.C.- A coordinated operation between the FBI and Indian authorities has led to the arrest of Cindy Rodriguez Singh, a fugitive on the FBI’s ‘Top 10 Most Wanted’ list. Singh was wanted in Texas for the alleged murder of her six-year-old son, Noel Alvarez, who has not been seen since October 2022.
Cindy Rodriguez Singh has been considered a fugitive since 2023 after the FBI says she lied about where her son was and fled the U.S. to India.

Patel said the fugitive, identified as Cindy Rodriguez Singh, has been accused of murdering her son and will face charges of unlawful flight to avoid prosecution and capital murder of a person under 10 years of age.
