Several varieties of ice cream from LaMichoacana and Helados Mexico have been recalled nationwide, per the FDA. The recall was initiated over concerns of “life-threatening” allergic reactions to undeclared milk in the products.

Affected items include single-flavor offerings (such as Coconut, Strawberry, Bubble Gum, Cookies and Cream, Mango), as well as multi-packs (6‑pack, 12‑pack, 16‑pack varieties). The recalled products are as follows: Photos of the affected products are available on the FDA website.

If you or someone in your family is lactose intolerant or allergic to dairy, discard any recalled La Michoacana or Helados Mexico products. You may be able to return the product to the store for an exchange or refund. If you can eat dairy products, then this ice cream is still safe to eat.
