Jamie Lee Curtis made headlines during a recent red carpet appearance, where she ran into Allison Janney. Although Curtis is currently busy promoting her upcoming film Freakier Friday, it was her reaction to Janney’s fashion choice that drew widespread attention.

Now, Freakier Friday has earned an initial 80% score from critics on Rotten Tomatoes. Directed by Nisha Ganatra, this is the legacy sequel to Freaky Friday, and sees Curtis and Lohan return to their previous roles. While it's not officially out yet, reviews have already come pouring in ahead of its theatrical release on Aug. 8, 2025.

Julia Butters, Sophia Hammons and Manny Jacinto also star in Nisha Ganatra’s comedy, which picks up with the characters based on Mary Rodgers’ classic children’s novel two decades later.
