MLSE extends Bobby Webster's contract as GM while also giving him full leadership of the team. Raptors GM Bobby Webster joins swingman Scottie Barnes in locking down a long-term future in Toronto. The search for a new president of the Toronto Raptors has resulted in the decision to further extend the contract of General Manager Bobby Webster.

"This team is his, now, to lead and I know we all look forward to what comes next," MLSE CEO Keith Pelley said in a statement.

Webster began his career with the NBA’s front office in 2006 before joining the Raptors in 2013 as Ujiri’s first hire. He started as vice president of basketball management and strategy, then worked his way up to assistant general manager before becoming GM.
