The Menendez brothers have been given a platform on Murphy's Netflix true-crime series, and they should be grateful. They've had the chance to be tried in the court of public opinion, before their case goes back to the real courts, and Murphy thinks it could possibly set them free:

O’Donnell, who has been a longtime advocate of Lyle and Erik Menendez, spoke to News Nation after Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón announced at a press conference on Thursday, Oct. 3, that he is "keeping an open mind" about the Menendez brothers' bid for release.
