Stores and restaurants in the path of Hurricane Milton are closing or adjusting hours as the storm approaches. Landfall is expected Wednesday night.

As Hurricane Milton approaches to Florida, some Publix, Walmart, Winn-Dixie and other stores across the state have closed or adopted modified hours, according to their websites. So far, only Aldi and Freshfield Farms has closed stores in the Jacksonville area.

As Florida braces for the arrival of Hurricane Milton, major stores have made changes to store opening hours. Publix has set up an online tracker so customers can see any changes at their local stores. The chain already shut many of its locations in Southwest Florida on Tuesday, as residents were warned to evacuate.
