Our cold mornings stick around through the end of the school week, with seasonable afternoon highs. Expect highs in the lower 70s for tomorrow, with continued sunshine. Thursday will be a degree or so cooler as a weak boundary works through the region, dropping highs back into the upper 60s.

Columbus and Cincinnati will have sunny days with below-normal temperatures and minimal rain chances until the weekend.

Sunny skies and nary a drop of rain are in the forecast through the weekend. Daily highs in 60s are expected through Thursday when the temperatures will rise to the 70s for the weekend. Overnight lows will be in 40s, just the right ingredients for the vibrant fall colors to begin appearing in the trees.

The seasonable temperature trend continues across Central Ohio. High temperatures will be around 70 degrees. This is alongside the very sunny skies that are sticking around. The northerly wind flow will also continue to flow in.

Why are we cool and dry? Well, an area of low pressure to our north is funneling in air from Canada this week. So, we will stay mostly clear and sunny with near or below-average temperatures. By Friday morning, we could see some patchy frost along some of our yards.

Sunday will be the warmer day with high temperatures in the middle 80s but it is very short lived, as a cold front moves through Sunday night and brings even cooler air for next week. Next Monday and through much of next week we will see high temperatures in the upper 60s and low 70s with morning temperatures in the mid-40s.
