Gov. Bill Lee is coordinating with Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem to secure federal resources ahead of this weekend’s winter storm in Tennessee.

Thursday, the Tennessee Emergency Management Agency provided an update ahead of a winter storm in the forecast for Middle Tennessee this weekend.

The Governor announced the news in a proclamation on Jan. 19

Term limited Gov. Bill Lee will leave the Tennessee governor’s office in January 2027, and voters will decide in November 2026 who will succeed him.

The Tennessee Department of Commerce & Insurance and the Tennessee State Fire Marshal’s Office proudly announce that applications from rescue squads are being accepted for $5 million in grant funding through the Rescue Squad Grant Program.
