Multiple decomposing bodies were discovered behind a hidden door in a Pueblo funeral home run by the county coroner during an annual inspection, state officials said.

The owner told inspectors that some of the bodies found at his funeral home had been waiting to be cremated for years.

Pueblo County Coroner Brian Cotter's private practice has been suspended after inspectors found several decomposing bodies in a concealed room.
