McLaren's New W1 supercar takes inspiration from a family of iconic cars, but also sets new benchmarks for the high-speed car brand.

McLaren has officially launched its latest hypercar, the McLaren W1, a cutting-edge successor to the legendary F1 and P1 models. Dubbed the “real supercar,” the W1 pushes the boundaries of performance and technology, setting new benchmarks in the world of road-legal supercars.

The new hyper hybrid hits 1,258 bhp, is limited to 217 mph, has DRS and an airbrake, and can come to a halt from 124 mph in just 100 meters. Yet none of this is the car’s real party piece.
