Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried will star in “ The Housemaid ,” a film adaptation of the popular novel by Freida McFadden. “Bridesmaids” and “A Simple Favor” filmmaker Paul Feig will direct the psychological thriller for Lionsgate.

Sweeney, 27, will play Millie, who, according to an official logline, is a "struggling young woman who is relieved to get a fresh start as a housemaid to Nina (Seyfried, 38) and Andrew, an upscale, wealthy couple… but soon learns that the family’s secrets are far more dangerous than her own."
