In addition to a brand new story, tons of quality-of-life improvements, many new mechanics, and even some new endgame dungeons to enjoy, Diablo IV: Vessel Of Hatred also adds a new class; the Spiritborn.

Spiritborn are the agile, monk-like characters in Diablo 4, and are exclusive to 2024’s Vessel of Hatred DLC. Despite being the “fast melee class,” the Spiritborn are much more complex than they initially seem, as they can command four unique beast spirits to imbue their abilities and create new identities.

Diablo 4 encounters some last-minute issues that lead to a delay in the simultaneous global launch of Vessel of Hatred, its first expansion pack.
