Moscow barreled hundreds of drones toward four key regions in Ukraine overnight, just as lawmakers in Kyiv scrambled to approve additional defense spending against the backdrop of intensified Russian attacks over the past few days.

Russia targeted Ukraine with more than 1,800 drones, 1,200 guided aerial bombs and 83 missiles of various types, President Zelenskyy said.

The Russian army used a FAB-500 bomb during a strike on the center of Dobropillia. This is a Soviet-designed aerial bomb that has been modified by Russian forces and is now used in attacks on Ukrainian territory.
