On Aug. 21, a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket carried the Boeing-built X-37B Space Force space plane to orbit on its eighth mission.

The Space Force launched its X-37B Orbital Test Vehicle late last night for its eighth mission, sending the spaceplane to run a slate of experiments on next-generation technologies.

Within six months of touching down from a 434-day orbital mission in March, Boeing’s X-37B spaceplane is back in action.
