Rebecca Haro made public pleas for son Emmanuel’s return after she claimed a strange man attacked her, knocking her unconscious and snatching the infant while she was changing his diaper.

Riverside County Superior Court records show Jake Haro has a June 2023 felony conviction for child cruelty from a 2018 arrest in Hemet, the Orange County Register reported. He was sentenced to 180 days in jail and 48 months of probation and is scheduled to appear in court in early September for an alleged probation violation.

After Rebecca Haro reported that her 7-month-old son Emmanuel Haro was kidnapped during an attack in a parking lot, which left her unconscious, police noted "inconsistencies" in her story.

The 7-month-old's mother said she was attacked and her son was kidnapped. Investigators said they can't rule out foul play after confronting the woman about inconsistencies in her account of what happened.
