Rams QB Matthew Stafford seems to be progressing well, practicing every day this week after missing nearly a month with a back injury.

Sean McVay says it’s “a step in the right direction” for the veteran quarterback, who missed the first four weeks of camp with an aggravated disc in his back.

Leavitt, a redshirt sophomore, showed plenty of promise in his first year as the Sun Devils' starter. The 20-year-old QB threw for 2,885 yards, 24 touchdowns and six interceptions, and he rushed for another 443 yards and five touchdowns.
