Tata Capital, the financial services arm of the Tata Group, has opened its much-awaited initial public offering (IPO) for public subscription today. The Rs 15,512 cr issue will remain open till October 8, marking one of the biggest IPO events of the year. It's also the largest IPO since Hyundai Motor India’s Rs 27,859 crore issue last year.
