It was a sigh of relief as KWS rescued stuck elephant on 27th April 2019. The elephant had fallen in mud and got stuck while looking for water in Mowuarak area near Posta in Laikipia County and was reported by Ady Hartley who owns a ranch near the incident area. The KWS Warden at Rumuruti mobilized the rescue team and called in the KWS vet based at Nanyuki but who had to travel from the field in Meru and the elephant was rescued. | Kenya Wildlife Service
