Doulas are irreplaceable in the birth space. 💕 They don’t just hold mama up, but dad as well. My doulas helped Caleb so that he could help me. They prayed with him in the waiting room, brought food at midnight after things calmed, and refused to leave until I was stable. Then, they continued to show up for our long hospital stay. Doulas help prevent emergencies, yes. But they also prevent further trauma when emergencies do occur. They show up and show out. They live to take care of others. 🩷 #
